Each 20cl candle refill contains 150g of our highly scented soy mix which fits perfectly into a glass with the following dimensions*

Top diameter: 55mm
Bottom diameter: 50mm
Height: 65mm

*Pick n Melt candle refills can only be burned in the correct sized glass. It is not tested and so not safe to burn them other than as instructed.

20cl candle refills burn for 10-25 hours depending on the scent.
 

Why use soy wax?

Soy wax is a common, sustainable vegetable wax made from the oil of soy beans. Soy has many uses in various industries but most commonly relating to vegetarian and vegan diets as an alternative source of dietary protein. To make soy wax the soy beans are harvested and then cleaned, cracked, de-hulled, and rolled into flakes. The oil is then extracted from the flakes and hydrogenated.

There are various reasons we use soy wax for our main candle wax. Some ethical and some practical.

1. Soy beans are a naturally renewable source and are Eco-friendly.

2. Soy wax burns for longer with a cooler burning temperature.

3. Soy wax is non-toxic due to the nature of it’s extraction and thus produces no toxins when it burns.
