1. WAX MELTS USAGE

Simply place a single wax melt, or a segment of a larger wax melt, in the bowl of your electric wax melt warmer or the ceramic dish of your wax melt burner. Light an unscented natural soy tealight below. Use long candle matches to get inside your burner to light your tea light candle. Once the wax is warm, it will melt and spread fragrance that will fill your room, sometime your whole house! Always read the CLP safety label before use. Only burn the wax melt on a level, fire resistant surface. To ensure you keep your senses fresh, do not burn a wax melt for more than 4 hours at a time.

2. WAX MELT SAFETY

Do not place fingers or hands in or on a tea light burner while lit. Keep out of reach or children and pets at all times, even when not lit. Do not leave unattended or burning out of your sight. Place your warmer or burner on a level and heat resistant surface before lighting. Do not move once lit. Do not overfill, you can top up once the wax has melted if you need more. Our 12g single segments should be plenty sufficient for a good scent throw. The burner may become hot so do not touch it while in use. Allow the wax to cool when finished using. Do not use metal objects to clean out the wax as this may crack and damage your warmer or burner bowl.

3. CHANGING YOUR WAX MELTS

There are various ways that you can remove your used wax melts in order to start anew.

If your warmer has been on and your wax is still liquid, take a couple of cotton balls, set them in the warmer bowl, let it absorb and discard cotton balls. This also works with kitchen roll. This is perfect for the warmers without removable lids/plugins. If using cotton balls you might still need kitchen roll to wipe away any excess wax.

If your wax warmer is off and the wax has hardened, it is easier to remove the wax by turning the warmer back on or relighting your tea light for 10-30 seconds. This will loosen the wax in the dish and make it easier to remove as a single solid piece. If you apply light pressure to the wax it should pop out. Be sure to wipe away any excess with kitchen roll.

4. STORING YOUR WAX MELTS

Pick n Melt Wax melts are made from soy wax. They are sensitive to light and of course, temperature. Storing them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight is advisable as the sun light will soften your wax melts and damage the potency of its fragrance. Keep your wax melts dust free and longer lasting by keeping the packet sealed.
